Pink Beauty is an established home-based salon expanding into a larger space as we grow our team.
We focus on high-quality work, strong client experience, and long-term relationships. Our goal is to build a team of technicians who take pride in their craft and want to work in an environment where attention to detail and consistency matter.
We are intentionally building a small, strong team – not a high-volume, rushed environment.
We are currently hiring a full-time technician (30–40 hours per week).
While this is a new space, we’ve built a strong foundation – professional branding, strong online presence and marketing, seamless online booking, and an existing loyal client base transitioning into the salon. The salon we’ve acquired also has a steady stream of clients, and the location benefits from consistent walk-in traffic.
Compensation
- 50% commission on all services + 100% of tips
- Guaranteed minimum hourly wage of $18 / hour – whichever is higher, calculated each 2-week pay period
- Health Spending Account (for 30+ hours per week)
- General holiday pay (as per Alberta standards)
- Statutory benefits (CPP, EI, vacation pay)
Estimated Earnings:
- $5,000 – $8,000+/month depending on availability, efficiency, and client retention
Role Overview
This is a full-service nail technician role with a focus on quality, consistency, and client retention.
We specialize in gel extensions, and value technicians who take the time to ensure clean application, proper prep, and long-lasting results. Additional services offered include pedicures, eyelash extensions, and head spa treatments.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements
- Provide a calm, professional, and welcoming client experience
- Build strong client relationships to support repeat bookings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace
- Support general salon operations (light reception and client care duties)
Qualifications
- Certified Nail Technician or minimum 6 months salon experience
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused
- Comfortable receiving feedback and continuing to develop skills
- Interested in building a consistent returning client base
- Values client experience and quality over speed
Assets (Not Required)
- Experience with eyelash extensions
- Waxing experience
- Head spa service experience
